Calendar 2026!!!!

Late, but finally here: In cooperation with the advertising agency trafficweb.de, we managed to launch the Mikrokosmos 2026 calendar just before the end of the year.
A preview as a PDF can be downloaded by clicking on the image. The calendar is DIN A2 size (approx. 40x60 cm), and this time the calendar grid is artfully integrated into the image. To keep it affordable for you, we have omitted the cardboard backing and foil packaging. It is available directly from: info@eyeofscience.de for € 39 (plus shipping)

Exhibition on Tour!

DRECKSARBEIT: Der Mikrokosmos unter unseren Füßen

The exhibition, which was created alongside the book, premiered in Reutlingen and was incredibly successful. It will now start the tour trough Germany and Europe! The next venues are:

October 2025: Nantesbuch Bad Heilbrunn (50 km south of Munich)

New Book

DRECKSARBEIT (Dirt work).
This book takes a deep look into the soil. We have used our scanning electron microscope to explore life underground. And the soil is so full of life that we could easily fill a book with the pictures. Unfortunately, this book is currently only available in German. We hope to find a publisher for an English edition. Photographic Artworks in Square!

The "Photo Society", a community of National Geographic photographers selected images from their members to create square prints for sale in cooperation with MAGNUM. We are proud to be part of it it with our image of the slime mold "Badhamia utricularis". There will be an online-presentation October 22th: register here!

Die „Photo Society“, eine Gemeinschaft von National Geographic-Fotografen hat in Zusammenarbeit mit MAGNUM Bilder ihrer Mitglieder ausgewählt und daraus quadratische Abzüge -square prints- zum Verkauf erstellt. Wir sind stolz, mit unserem Bild des Schleimpilzes „Badhamia utricularis“ dabei zu sein. Am 22. Oktober wird es eine Online-Präsentation geben: hier geht es zur Anmeldung!

After the publication of our "Forest Soil" story in National Geographic, we were invited to join the "Photo Society". This society brings together all photographers who published large photo features in this magazine. We are proud to be part of this exclusive community of photographers. Of course, our scanning electron microscopic images set special accents among the many other animal and nature images.

Nach der Veröffentlichung unserer "Waldboden" Geschichte in National Geographic wurden wir eingeladen, der "Photo Society" beizutreten. Diese versammelt alle Fotografen, die grosse Bildgeschichten in diesem Magazin veröffentlichen durften. Wir sind stolz darauf, Teil dieser exklusiven Gemeinschaft von Fotografen geworden zu sein. Unsere Raster-Elektronenmikroskopischen Aufnahmen setzen zwischen den vielen anderen Tier- und Naturaufnahmen natürlich besondere Akzente.
